Watercolor firsts tests

Alright then, I thought it was about time I posted something here.
Since I've never been to art school, I'm not used to traditional ways of painting. One I'm most fond of learning is watercolor. I took this weekend to practice a bit. Anyways here are my first tries.

And this one I did by trying to copy another watercolour painting.
It didn't go well..

I'm not sure what the assignment was.... I think you were supposed to act two different emotions, so I did confused and surprised.
